Mijing SG22 UV curing nano oil is a type of solder mask used for repairing and protecting mobile phone motherboards and other circuit boards. It is known for its fast curing time of about 3 seconds when exposed to a UV light.

Key features and uses

  • Nano oil formulation: Its nano-oil composition provides high temperature resistance and strong adhesion.

  • Quick curing: The "3-second" claim refers to how fast the substance solidifies under a UV lamp, speeding up repair work.

  • Insulation: It insulates and protects electronic components, safeguarding them from moisture, oxidation, and short circuits.

  • PCB repair: It is ideal for fixing "flying wires" (jumpers), securing solder pads, and repairing areas where the original solder mask has peeled or been damaged.

  • Anti-soldering protection: The hardened layer prevents solder from bridging across traces, ensuring stable electrical connections.

  • Precision application: The product typically comes in a syringe with a sharp nozzle, allowing for precise application on small components like chip pins and solder pads.

How to use Mijing SG22

  1. Clean the area: Prepare the work area by ensuring the PCB is clean and free of flux residue or other contaminants. Using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is a common method.

  2. Apply the nano oil: Squeeze a small amount of the SG22 from the syringe onto the spot that needs repair, such as a jumper wire or damaged trace.

  3. Spread the oil: Use a needle or another fine tool to spread the oil into a thin, even layer. Do not apply too much, as this can increase the curing time.

  4. Cure with UV light: Expose the applied oil to a UV light. Many technicians use a UV flashlight, but a larger UV lamp can also be used. The product cures very quickly, with some vendors claiming a 3-second cure time with the right light.

  5. Test the cure: The final result should be a durable, insulating layer. If the mask feels tacky or soft, continue curing it with the UV light. Some users also report using a little heat from a hot air station along with the UV light to ensure a full cure.
