How to use Mechanic Scavenger removers
Prepare your workspace. Work in a well-ventilated area and protect your eyes with safety glasses.
Apply the liquid. Depending on the specific task, apply the appropriate Scavenger liquid to the area with glue. For frame removal (SC325), apply 2–3 drops along the gap between the screen and the frame. For chip glue (SC840), use a drip method around the edges.
Wait for the solvent to penetrate. Allow the liquid to sit for several minutes to soften and dissolve the adhesive. Tougher glue may require a longer waiting time.
Clean the residue. Use a soft tool like a dismantling piece or glue scraper to gently pry and remove the softened glue. Wipe away the remaining residue with a lint-free cloth or an alcohol-soaked cotton swab.
Finish the repair. Use the quick-drying electronic cleaner (SC118) to clean the area completely and ensure no liquid residue remains before reassembling the device.
