The Mechanic GR300 is a liquid degumming solution designed to remove strong adhesives, often called "black glue," from CPU and IC chips during electronic repairs. It is not a mechanical tool but a chemical solvent that helps soften and dissolve hardened glue.

Key features

  • Safe and non-corrosive: The formula is designed to dissolve adhesives without damaging sensitive electronic components like circuit boards, CPUs, and HD chips.

  • Low odor: Unlike some strong chemical solvents, the

    GR300

has a low odor, making it more pleasant to work with.

  • Leaves no residue: The liquid evaporates quickly after use and leaves a clean, residue-free surface.

  • Fast degumming: The formula is enhanced to break down and remove glue quickly, reducing repair time.

  • Versatile use: It can be used for a wide range of devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and laptops.

How to use

Mechanic GR300

for glue removal

  1. Preparation: Before beginning, make sure the device is powered off and the component you are working on is completely cool. Consider working in a well-ventilated area.

  2. Application: Apply a small amount of the

    GR300

liquid directly onto the area with the adhesive. The bottle often comes with a precision needle tip to help control the flow.

  3. Wait time: Allow the liquid to penetrate and soften the glue. For stubborn or thick adhesive, you may need to wait several minutes or even repeat the process.

  4. Removal: Use a soft-bristled brush, a plastic scraper, or a specialized glue-removing blade to gently scrape away the loosened adhesive. A lint-free cloth or swab can also be used to wipe the area.

  5. Cleanup: After the glue is removed, the remaining liquid will evaporate quickly. You can use a clean, dry cloth or compressed air to ensure the area is completely dry before proceeding with your repair.
